Star Christmas Ornaments

Wildflowers & Pistols
by Wildflowers & Pistols
These are such a fun and easy way to really put your own stamp on your Christmas tree decor. The options are endless!!
I purchased these unfinished wooden stars online. They are about the size of my palm. So nothing real big but also not too small.
I painted each star using my own Wildflowers & Pistols Milk Paint. The color I used on the star above is Eleanor. You can purchase the milk paint as well as watch video tutorials on how to mix and apply the milk paint here ----> www.wildflowersandpistols.com
Then I picked out some festive tissue paper and applied it to the stars.
This is what the tissue paper looked like applied to the star.
I just cut out small sections and placed it onto the star whichever way I thought looked best. Then I distressed the tissue paper until I was happy with the look. You can see step by step directions on how to do this here ---> http://wildflowersandpistols.com/blogs/news/17881935-how-to-use-mod-podge-napkins-on-furniture
Now grab some jingle bells, twine and a drill. You will want to carefully drill a hole into the top of the star and then run the twine through the hole, add the jingle bell then tie a knot. Now you're ready to hang your new Star Christmas Ornaments!
This would also make a great, unique Christmas gift!
I think they are so cute and will fit in perfectly on my tree this year! :) I'm very happy with how this fun little project turned out! ~ Happy Holidays!
