DIY Button Christmas Trees

Buttons, straight pins, and foam cone equal an adorable and easy-to-make Christmas tree!
Start by covering your foam cone with fabric.
Then use the straight pins to stick the buttons to the cone. Just make sure you don't stick yourself!

    Could I spray paint white buttons that I already have?

      OR-----you can get a shirt with buttons that you like from a thrift store, and use those buttons---I have gone on 1/2 off days and really made a good haul, button-wise. Men''s dress shirts are especially good for a lot of buttons---both collar and cuffs, and be sure to check inside the shirt for any spare buttons the shirt maker may have included.
