Light up Deer Silhouette

I needed something cute and whimsical to go by my little Charlie Brown tree this year, and I love deer heads and burlap. So, of course the two together...plus lights...made a perfect fit.
Here's the light up deer silhouette next to the tree. And of course, I had to dress it up in a scarf too :) It adds the perfect touch to this corner.
I first just grabbed some burlap canvas I found at Michaels, and placed a deer silhouette stencil on it and started painting.
For the lights, I used a 10 light string powered by batteries and put them through holes I created with a razor blade.
The best thing about this, you can take out the lights and take off the scarf and use it year around.
