Upcycled Mug Planter

Cleaning out your kitchen cupboards in a January organizing frenzy? Don't throw away those old cheesy logo mugs. UPcycle them into a cute planter for your kitchen window, or add a touch of spring to brighten a friend's day!
I used Rustoleum's Heirloom White spray paint to cover the old mug. It took a couple of coats to cover that cheesy logo.
After the paint is completely dry, stick on some letters to spell anything you want. I had Valentine's Day on the brain.
Paint over the stickers with some craft paint. I chose gold, and purposely didn't tape off the rectangle, for a "painterly" look. When the craft paint is dry, peel off the stickers. That's it!
