My Dream Dollhouse (diy project my husband and I worked on ) :)

I always wanted to have a miniature dollhouse. I just love miniature worlds. Fairy gardens, Christmas towns.... anything and everything:) Last year I asked my husband to build me one. At first the house was supposed to have 2 floors, then 3, then we finally added an attic :) We had to put the "construction" on hold for a while because we were moving to a new place. However, I got to finish this little house in the last few days because my workplace was closed due to the snow and I had some time on my hands:)
I was trying to decorate as detailed as possible and make it look like a real house. We got the decorations from ebay, my mother in law, thrift stores, etc. We also made some and fixed a lot of furniture because most of it was old and broken.

Xena please have a great vacation my husband and I are in our late SENIOR years 80 and 90 so our vacations are in our memories (what memories they are, ha). Enjoy everyday of your lives as they go by soooo fast. My new memories are using this IPad and keeping in touch with all the super people who snare their hobbies and talents for of us who DREAM and DO. Best, Joann

  Aww thank you so much for your kind words :) but I was serious about giving you some miniatures we have left over from building dollhouse. They r just in my closet. Very cool dollhouse! I love that you have it furnished/decorated with finds from all over. It really gives it a handmade, personal look instead of generic catalog style. Someday I'll have one........my husband is a carpenter. =)

  Thank you so much :) I love that it is hand made. And that someone built it for me. Thus house will be always so special to me. I am sure your husband will be able to build you a great doll house :) ask for many rooms..... you can get more creative with them
