This was made with old tounge and groove porch boards that I picked up from a pile out for trash in someone's yard. I loaded as much in my small trailer as possible and have lots of project ideas to use them for. I also made the vanity top with the full size in horizontal pattern.
I used my table saw to rip off the tounge and grooves then ripped the planks in half lengthwise. I randomly picked a consistent length for each piece. Next I grabbed a very thin veneer type rectangle board to glue the wood to. Let dry then I cut the edges to make clean edges.
