I bought some velvet drapes for way cheap and wanted an easy way to customize them without getting my big and bulky sewing machine out. I decided to use no sew tape and love how I was able to alter my drapes in a hour!
I have this window bench seat/window area in my living room that needed some TLC. I wanted some curtains to frame the windows, not block them because this is the only light I get in this room.
I bought one window curtain panel for 60% off! I love great deals. I cut the panel in half.
Used a mat to measure and cut strips of no sew adhesive tape to alter my drapes.
With your ironing board and iron you can create beautiful and straight edges.
I used leftover material from the drapes and velcro tabs to make tie backs for my curtains.

I am sorry but I don't think I understand how you are attaching to the rod. I need some more visual.
