Remove Rust From Silverware in 3 Easy Steps

WHY DO THIS?
Nothing ruins a delicious meal faster than a rust-covered fork. If your dinnerware is looking shabby these days, give it a facelift overnight with a kitchen staple: lemon juice. This trick is super easy!
1. Fill the glass with lemon juice.

You want the juice to be fresh and real, because sugar will just make the silverware sticky. We think this a great excuse to invest in a lemon squeezer, because lemonade is always a good idea.

2. Stick the silverware in the glass overnight.

Stick your rusty silverware into the lemon juice until the glass is full, and then set it aside overnight.

3. Rub away any residue.

The next morning, grab a dry cloth and rub away any residue. This is the perfect task to tackle while your coffee is brewing. By the time you’re drinking your cup of joe, you’ll have rust-free, shining silverware.
