DIY Coffee Filter Angel Wings

Decorating kitchen walls can be challenging for people like me who can't stand the store bought "kitchen themed" decor! See how I turned these plastic wings (a Halloween Costume) into fitting decor for my space for under $15! The materials needed are minimal and the project is easy!
I purchased the wings on clearance last year but never got around to finishing them.
If you follow me you know, I love wings so when I started decorating my freshly painted kitchen walls, I immediately thought of the neglected plastic wings! I started by folding the coffee filters in half and covering the bottom portion of the wings.
I added another fold for layering.
And folded the filter into a quarter of itself for the top and final fluffing.
The result...an eye catching focal point, full of dimension...all for less than $15! Skip over to the blog for all the details!
