Twice Re-Created Antique Trunk

Believe it or not this is my before picture! I painted this trunk and did a stencil on it...BLAH...It was not the look I had hoped for. Two times a charm right?
This was a terrible old looking trunk when it hit my studio floor.

I recreated this trunk for a vintage market I was co-hosting, in a soft ice blue and white with some silver arrows. Sweet and nice but no one wanted it...and I knew I could do better!
It was time to recreate it...again...

I chalk painted it with my new FAT Paint in Pewter Gray, then did a FAT White Glaze AND a Fat Black Glaze for that perfect time worn look!
I used this stunning graphic from The Graphics Fairy and hand painted it on! I'm a total sucker for graphics, I LOVE how it makes the piece feel like it came right over from Europe!
I also re-painted the inside of the trunk in a soft brown/grey.
My FAVORITE look right now is the french grey and white glaze. It looks perfectly Paris France now.....SWOON....
