If you are familiar with me and this blog, you know that I adore those flat vase filler marbles that I buy at the dollar store. You can also buy them in more color varieties at the craft store.
Add a little silicone glue, and I am in heaven. I will glass marble bedazzle everything outside!
Add a little silicone glue, and I am in heaven. I will glass marble bedazzle everything outside!
To make this, you will need an empty wine bottle (white or red - your choice) and some SILICONE glue. This is found in with caulk and yes, it's weather proof. DO NOT USE E6000. ONLY use this type of silicone clear caulk.
And, of course, you will need your choice of glass marbles.
I began with the bottom row, putting a bead of caulk in a thick line at the bottom of the bottle.
Now my flowers will be extra happy and hopefully give me weeks of fragrant blooms.

Audrey Brow Stapleford on Jul 08, 2016I found a terra cotta bottle tip that will allow water to slowly go into the soil at a local plant nursery. I've also taken water bottles and had my husband drill three small holes into the caps. Fill with water and the water will slowly water your plants during the day.

Have a question about this project?
Ok peeps I'am trying this idea and I so far just spray painted the wine bottles red and stuck them into ground by couple plants that need that extra watering then others, but just not sure if I did something right! Cause don't seem like there any water being sucked out. Like my peppermint plant that I found online love plenty of watering!
So maybe I didn't put it far enough into the ground? I put 2 to 3 holes into the wine screwed cap & I took off the plastic type inside of the screwed cap! Hope I describe that part in the screwed cap!
