Trunk Makeover
Ever see a trunk but think it's not quite functional. I turn this one into a sitting area. Fabric and stencils make this an elegant trunk.
This is the before. Purchased off a FB yardsale site.
First it is painted with ASCP graphite and AS dark wax after the stencils were done in ASCP old white. The center area has foam padding glued down so it doesn't shift. This cute fabric purchased from Hobby Lobby was cut to fit and stapled on the inside. I used a trim to cover the staples.
Front stencil.
1 stencil in each of the 4 corners. The inside is cedar. And make sure you use some scotch guard fabric protector. I do 2 coats letting each one dry. Follow on FB: https://www.facebook.com/shuggysplace
