Vintage Elegance Vanity

When this vanity arrived it didn't seem like much. It was missing the mirror completely leaving its purpose questionable but I could see her potential.
Even without the mirror she had gorgeous hardware, dovetail drawers and nice straight lines.
Once prepped and painted I had a new custom mirror cut for inside.
I was so nervous about placement of the mirror that I laid the piece down flat to ensure once measured, leveled, attached and taped it wouldn't move.
She was painted a very soft pink with another shade of light pink on the drawers.
The original hardware was cleaned and refreshed to gold and the piece has been distressed to perfection.
The drawer was also lined with a soft gold lyrical print which ties in beautifully with the gold hardware.
With a new mirror and a paint job she's been revived!

Lovely and just right! I thought you might have said "Didn't want to purchase a mirror so made the area into a push pin board"....or something like that ;-) It really is great with the mirror and I' glad you replaced it. Very pretty drawer paper too!
