Frozen Bedroom Ideas: Making Over My Daughters Room
We decided to update my daughter's room, and she had some Frozen bedroom ideas. The room was stuck in a phase between being a nursery and a toddler's room. She was excited about a makeover, so I decided to give her bedroom a fresh look with a Frozen theme.
Table of contents
- Paint (Tame Teal by Sherwin-Williams, Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore)
- Paintbrushes or rollers
- Patching compound
- Sandpaper
- Painter's tape
- Drop cloths or old sheets
Step 1: Clearing and Prepping
I cleared everything off the walls and patched up any holes to start with a clean slate. This step is essential for any room makeover!
Step 2: Choosing the Perfect Color
We let my daughter choose the color for her room, and she went with Tame Teal by Sherwin-Williams. It matched perfectly with her new bedding and set the tone for the whole room.
Step 3: Painting
I painted most of the walls in the chosen teal color, but I left a couple of walls halfway done. This allowed me to add some trim work to break up the color and add visual interest. I used Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore for the trim, which complemented the teal beautifully. The wall colors add to the Frozen vibe.
Frozen bedroom ideas
And there you have it - a simple and fun frozen-themed bedroom makeover! My only stumbling block is that I'm unsure what to do with her nightstand. It needs a fresh coat of paint, but I'm stuck on what color to choose.
