Dresser Re-Do With Cobalt Blue by Dixie Belle Paint

We have had this dresser sitting in our garage for about a month now and finally was able to pull it out and do a fun color to it.
The overall condition of this piece is good. It is missing handles and has some surface areas that just need to be sanded smooth. Both of these can be fixed fairly quickly which will make this project go pretty quickly.

First we removed all the hardware. We had some new hardware ready since this piece was missing a few. Next we double checked that everything was tight and working properly.
We then started doing our light sand to smooth out the top. Once the top was sanded, we could move on to prepping for paint. This means vacuuming and wiping the project down.

We decided on Cobalt Blue by Dixie Belle Paint Company. We also used their Belle brush and chip brush. This paint is so nice that it only took one layer of paint!
We wanted a more vintage look so we took some sand paper to give it a worn in look. Again this means we had to vacuum and wipe the project down before added a layer of clear coat flat by Dixie Belle to finish this piece off.
Last steps were to put all the hardware back on and get it up for sale. Below I have provided a link to Dixie Belle’s Paint and products. Check them out!
We love Dixie Belle Paint, it really is the Best Paint on Planet Earth!
