#SPiTchallenge Dragonfly Nightstand

This was a sad little nightstand that started out as a $2 yardsale find. With some chalky paint, acrylics and Unicorn SPiT it became a fun little piece of furniture.
Did a side by side swipe using zia teal, purple majesty and pink.
Then used a stamp to stamp dragonflies on the top and drawer fronts. Freehanded pink in a ribbon design. Sealed with 2 coats of tung oil finish.
Sealed the sides with polycrylic. Then glazed the chalky paint that I custom mixed using mettalic pearl white, mettallic silver sterling and metallic silver
Knobs were old wooden Knobs that I hand painted with the metallic silver acrylic, then clear coated with rustroleum semi clear gloss.
And finally did 2 coats of fast drying polyurethane on the top and drawer fronts. All done with products I already had around my studio. Love playing with Unicorn SPiT.
