Hi, I'm Amber Oliver! I hope if you enjoy this project you'll also stop by my blog!

One of my favorite things to do is find an item at The Dollar Tree and see if I can repurpose it into a craft. I found these nice ceramic soap dishes and realized they would be great as a "catch all" or a ring dish for my bed side table! To add some color to this project I used an unexpected item - a napkin!

This project is almost too easy to need a tutorial! But maybe you didn't know that napkins and mod podge make the perfect combo for decopauge! This napkin had pretty polka dots that were simple to cute out!

If you have a more complicated design, just cut as close to it as you can.

After I cut out my pieces of napkin, I put down a bit of mod podge and stuck the circles in place.

After you've placed your designs, put a layer over the top to make sure they stay in place. I put about two coats on top to ensure my napkin didn't peel up.

The polka dots turned out so cute on this project! This is a great little dish that I can drop my jewelry in at the end of the day so it doesn't get lost. I hope this project inspires you to try a napkin decopauge craft too :)
