Every little girl deserves a magical and pretty room to dream in. I wanted my daughters room to really feel like a room set back in time, with true elegance and girly style.
We had already done most of the touches to this space when we had moved in and my daughter was still sleeping in her crib. I chose a dusty pink color for the walls (since I knew the days of pink walls wouldn't last long), and the rest of the room in neutral tones. Some of the pieces we had found for this room were bought on craigslist that we added some paint and love to. I especially love the Armoire that we created from the top of a dining room buffet.
lots of little girly details with french vintage flare including this adorable porcelain tea set, a gift from Santa a few years back.
I found this gorgeous bed from Home Decorators on SALE, and then had to pick up this gorgeous bedding from the local Target when I saw the ruffles and lace.
A new Rug from Plush Rugs to add warmth and depth to the floor, and a few distressed terra cotta pots filled with faux topiaries, and the room is complete! Now just to keep my daughter sleeping in her room every night.
Suggested materials:
