Whether you're looking to enjoy a cozy chat with friends or savor a quiet moment alone, this cute table will become the centerpiece of your outdoor oasis.

So, let's dive in and discover how to construct this charming addition to your outdoor space!

Natural wood crate

1. Start with a Wood Crate

To begin, find a natural wood crate that will serve as the base of your table.

Spray paint the wood crate

2. Apply Black Spray Paint

Give the wood crate a thorough coat of black spray paint for a sleek and modern look.

Tabletop piece: Old desktop

3. Choose a Tabletop

For the tabletop, repurpose a desk top or use a piece of wood that you no longer need.

Place the crate on the bottom side of the tabletop

4. Position the Crate and Tabletop

Flip the chosen tabletop over and place the painted crate, bottom side down, on top of it.

Pre-drill holes

5. Pre-Drill Holes

Pre-drill holes in the four corners of the tabletop to prepare for securing the crate.

Screw the crate to the tabletop

6. Secure with Screws

Using appropriate screws, attach the crate securely to the tabletop. Ensure the screws are long enough to hold the pieces together but won't go all the way through. Four screws should be sufficient.

7. Flip it Over

Carefully flip the assembled table over, revealing your low table that's perfect for floor seating.

8. Add a Table Runner

To dress it up, lay a table runner across the tabletop, adding a touch of style.

Add faux greenery and candles

9. Decorate with Greenery and Candles

Bring life and ambiance to the table by placing faux greenery and candles on top.

Add a pop of color

10. Add Colorful Accents and Coziness

For a vibrant pop of color, incorporate some lemons or other decorative elements.

Add cushions for seating

To make it even cozier, I also added some cushions to the ground.

Add a Little More Ambiance Outdoors

Incorporate these delightful DIY Lemon and Herb Luminaries into your newly crafted coffee table. Not only will they add a charming touch to your setting, but they'll also serve as natural mosquito repellents.

Why wouldnt you use 2 crates, one on each end to prevent tipping? Right now it's like a see saw? Someone leans on one end the other end will go up in the air 🤔🤔
