DIY No Build Outdoor Table

I'm going to show you how to create a low table that takes almost no effort to build today.

To start, I grabbed a natural wood crate.

I gave it a good coat of black spray paint.

For the tabletop, I used a top off of a desk that I was no longer using. You could also use a piece of wood to do this.

To create the table, I flipped the desktop over and placed the painted crate bottom side down on the tabletop.

Then I pre-drilled some holes in the four corners.

To secure it in place I added screws. Make sure to use screws that aren't going to go all the way through the table, but are long enough to really keep it secure. Four should do the trick.

Then I flipped it over and I had this low table that's going to offer some great floor seating.

To dress it up, I added a table runner.

Then I added some faux greenery and candles.

Finally, I added some lemons for a bright pop of color.

To make it even cozier, I also added some cushions to the ground.

It's a really great conversation area to enjoy a drink or some snacks or even a meal. Add some greenery and some soft lighting, and this makes the perfect outdoor seating area. What I love about this table is it's really lightweight, so I can move it inside or to another area. I can really put it wherever I want to gather. I hope this inspired you to go grab a crate and a tabletop or a piece of wood and put together your own little seating area.

Why wouldnt you use 2 crates, one on each end to prevent tipping? Right now it's like a see saw? Someone leans on one end the other end will go up in the air 🤔🤔
