How to clean an air fryer
1. Remove debris
Remove loose debris before beginning the cleaning process.
2. Preparing the Cleaning Solution
Add a few generous heaps of bicarbonate soda to the air fryer. Don't be shy – this will help break down any grease and grime in the air fryer.
Next, add a small amount of washing-up liquid to the mixture.
Finally, add boiling water. Give it a quick stir to combine the ingredients.
3. Soak and Wait
Now, let everything soak for about 30 minutes. This soaking time will work its magic and make the cleaning process a breeze.
4. Pour Out the Dirty Solution
After the soaking time is up, you'll be amazed at the grease that's been lifted off!
Pour the dirty cleaning solution out of the air fryer.
5. Light Scrubbing
Grab your scratch-resistant sponge, and gently scrub the components.
Then scrub the inner bowl of the air fryer.
The bicarbonate soda and hot water would have already loosened up most of the grime, so you won't need to scrub too hard. Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.
6. Rinse and Dry
Once you're satisfied with the cleanliness, rinse the components thoroughly with warm water. Use your scratch-resistant sponge to ensure there's no residue left. After rinsing, dry everything with a clean towel or paper towels. Make sure they're completely dry before reassembling your air
