Hi there, I hope this helps! https://homeguides.sfgate.com/old-wax-off-wood-floors-50679.html A friend of mine made the mistake of using a wax that DID NOT work on her floors at all but just built up and got really gross. She ended up just cleaniing the with a mix of 50/50 vinegar and water and nothing else after that.
A ratio of 1/4 cup white vinegar to quart of water with a well wrung mop is safe for bamboo flooring. As for the wax, it would depend on what wax was used to know the best maintenance routine.

Bamboo shouldn't have wax on it unless someone applied it. Ammonia removes wax but I would test it in a closet to make sure it doesn't harm the floor. Once cleaned it should be fine. The factory finish is durable.
I would just use a microfiber mop! E-Cloth is my favorite! https://us.e-cloth.com/collections/microfiber-mops/products/10620-deep-clean-mop#5b5769e44b71f

Bamboo shouldn’t have nor does it need wax. You might try removing it and then caring for the floor. Bamboo flooring is very durable on its own and meant to be easy care.
Hello, I use a microfiber cloth on my mop in warm mild soapy water, then dry with a microfiber cloth, this provides a streak free clean finish.

Hi! Check the manufacturer's website if you know what company made the floor. They usually have specific tutorials for maintenance. Otherwise, I use a swiffer mop. Stay safe!
