Robyn is correct. Keeping them clean is the most important. There are also products made by a hardwood flooring manufacturer, Bruce, that are excellent for maintaining your floors.Helpful Reply -

my floors are 8 yrs old now and people always ask me how they still look so good . I make sure everyone takes there shoes off at the door also I never mop my floors I know this sounds crazy but I grew up in a family of floorlayers the one thing I always remember is any water will ruin the finish so only spot clean . Also the finish plays a big factor the more glossy finish the more you'll see scratches . I hope I helped 😊Helpful Reply -

I sweep mine and then I mop them with a 50/50 spray of vinegar and water with a dash of essential oils mixed it,Helpful Reply -

It seems everything I've tried so far leaves a film and looking dull. Murphy's oil soap and Bonna and even Vinegar and water.
