I have had a few spools of wire burlap ribbon “collecting dust” in my ribbon drawer and I finally found the best use for them! We are creating napkin rings with them! Ready?! Let’s do this!

I already cut my wire burlap ribbon into 6” pieces*. You can cut as many as you would like. I went ahead and made as many as I could with the spool of yarn I had. (*edit)

I went ahead and I started gradually bending the ribbon in a circular shape so it’s quicker to glue the two ends together.

I put a strip of hot glue on the one end and I quickly attach the other end to it.

This is how the ends will look when they are glued.

Two down, several to go! Let’s keep the assembly line going.

Once they have completely cooled, you can go ahead and get your napkins ready for them. I chose the accordion style of folding the napkin here.

I love the way it fans out like a cute bow tie. You can create this with any type of 1” or 2” ribbon and it does not need to be wired. You could even add a small sprig of faux eucalyptus or evergreen. I hope you enjoyed making this craft and I hope you enjoy your new napkin rings!

I believe you have a typo on the ribbon measurement? You have 14 inches on your post. Did you mean to type 4” or is there another measurement we should use?
