Hello, and welcome! Today we will be creating a simple candleholder leaf centerpiece with shimmer lights. You will need just a few materials for this simple project.

Materials needed

One glass candleholder (purchased at Dollar Tree)

One plate(purchased at Dollar Tree)

One LED candle(purchased at Michaels)

Shimmer lights(purchased at Michaels)

The greenery (purchased at Walmart)

Total $15

Hot glue

wire cutters, or scissors

Start with taking your candleholder, and plate. Flip your plate so that the bottom side is facing up.

Take your candleholder, and apply hot glue around the top section. Once you have done this, turn your candleholder, so that the side with the glue is facing down. As you add your candleholder to your plate, apply a little pressure. Set it aside and allow it to dry.

Next, take your wire cutters, and begin to cut your greenery from the main stem. You will be adding each piece to the outer surface around your plate. (You can add your LED candle in the middle, just to be sure of where exactly you need to add your leaves on your plate. I left some of the stems on each leaf, but you can cut the stem off completely, or you can leave it as is.

If you're wanting to hide the stem, you can take leaves from any faux plant, and add them to your plate. I had some extra eucalyptus leaves from a previous craft. I added those over my stems. This helped to hide the stems. Again, this is optional and helps if you want to hide the stems.

Now that the leaves are added to your plate, you can begin to add your lights. Take your lights and loop them around, and under your leaves. That is it, your DIY project is complete. If you have any craft beads, you can string them along using some stretch cord, or twine. I had some stretch cord, and beads from a previous craft, so I went ahead and added those around my candle.

You're all done! I hope you have enjoyed this simple project. This is a beautiful addition to our kitchen, and I love how it turned out. Do you plan on making your very own? Let me know in the comments below.
