Use spiderwebs from the dollar store as a base for your spooky porch.
I called the farm where my parents get hay from and asked if they had any straw. They sold me these HUGE straw bales (over 4 ft long) for $3. I was also able to pick up pumpkins at the farm for $.20/lb
