Do you have one of those Dollar Tree foam swim boards at home?! Well, you can turn it into a quick tombstone for Halloween and scare those trick-or-treaters! Ready?! Let’s do this!

If you have one of these sitting in a tote or closet collecting dust, take it on out and create this great Halloween decoration.

I start by cutting the bottom of the swim board with a sharp knife to create a straight line.

I use a sharpie to draw out the lettering that will be hot glued and painted.

I hot glued the lettering over top the black marker.

I used two spray paints for this tombstone. First silver then I used black. I recommend Rustleum!

I first spray paint the front and back of the tombstone with silver spray paint.

I also lightly spray painted the corners with black spray paint to create a vignette look. I then put two bamboo kebab skewers into the bottom no glue needed. It’s a tight fit.

The tombstone looks great in a pot or in the ground and it stays secured well with the long bamboo skewers. I hope you enjoyed making this easy Halloween decoration! Have a happy and safe Halloween ☠️💀
