Wooden Heart Trays Using Vinyl

Valentine's Day means love...and candy! What better way to display all the chocolate truffles and conversation hearts than on heart-shaped wooden trays with quotes from your favorite movie?

I used my Cricut cutting machine for this project, but you can use any cutting machine you have.

Open up the Design Space and start a new project

Insert your first text box and type in the quote

Repeat this step two more times

Center the text in the boxes and change the font to your desired one

Cut the quotes out on the vinyl

Once the machine finished the cut, I cut the quotes out so I could weed them individually. I removed all the excess vinyl from the quotes, then I used transfer tape to apply the vinyl to the trays.

This set of trays is the perfect addition to any Valentine's decor or could be given as gifts, along with a sweet treat! Just wrap it in a cellophane bag!
