Beautiful Snowflake Chandelier
This is what happens when your husband LOVES the glass and brass chandelier over your dining table. You decorate it any which way you can for every season. In the fall I add colorful faux maple leaves. For winter I always make it into this stunning snowflake chandelier.
Here's what it looks like in it's everyday life.
Dollar Store snowflakes come in multipacks and they come in clear, glittered, white and silvery. You will need two or three dozen in total. Spread them all out and choose the biggest ones for the first layer to hook on those brass prongs. You don't even have to take the glass off off the light fixture!
Add more layers using ornament hooks or fishing line. Keep on adding until you like the way it looks. Kind of like a winter wedding cake or crown for a fairy tale princess. Or a Russian ice skater!
Add a variety of icicles and then more snowflakes. Even during the day your chandelier will look wonderful.
Ooh aah! This is one of my projects that keeps popping up on Pinterest and every year I post it again. It's so inexpensive and easy and looks stunning. It's a family tradition for winter/Christmas/holidays every year. I love it so much I leave it decorated until Valentine's Day!
It's so pretty and it reminds me of the film Fantasia, when Jack Frost is decorating the wild. Just beautiful!
