Easy DIY Frosty Winter Wreath

Now that the Christmas decorations are down, is your front door looking a little blah? Brighten it up with this inexpensive frosty blue and white DIY winter wreath! Do your kiddos love Frozen? I’m sure Elsa and Anna would love this wintry wreath, too!

Supplies I used were a grapevine wreath, 1 roll each of white and blue decorative mesh, blue and “diamond” gem ribbons, burlap ribbon and wintry floral picks.

I folded the mesh in half and tied the end of it securely onto the back of the wreath. Then, I wrapped the blue mesh loosely around the wreath, leaving a space at the bottom for the bow, and did the same with the white mesh.

I added more white mesh at the bottom.

To make my winter wreath worthy of Elsa and Anna from Frozen, I wanted to add some “bling.” Hence, the gem ribbons. I haven’t seen these before, so they were a fun find! To attach the (aff. link) blue gem ribbon, I used my glue gun.

I wrapped the blue gem ribbon in the gaps on the wreath, then I glued squares of the "diamond" gems onto the blue gems for even more sparkle.

Next, I made a bow out of burlap, added a diamond strip in the middle and hot glued it to the white mesh. (SEE MY POST FOR STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS ON MAKING THE BOW)

Finally I added the floral picks. I really liked these because the berries looked “frosted,” and it also looked like icicles were on them, too. Nice and wintry!
