It is never too early to start getting things ready. I purchased beautiful dollar store flowers last year and made a basket arrangement. Now I am re-purposing them for the Fall Mailbox swag. I will update when it goes on the mailbox!

Decided to re-purpose last year's fall flowers into a Mailbox swag
This is the finished project.
I shaped a piece of cardboard in a swag shape and bent it to make it flow over the mailbox.
I then cut the stems of the flowers off to about 2" and hot glued them onto the cardboard. Since this will probably just be used for 1 year, it does not have to be permanent!

I’m looking to make a mailbox swag. My question is in using the cardboard and if it rains a few times won’t it fall apart? I’d be looking for it to last a couple of months….
