Neutral Heart Wreath for Valentine's Day

2 Materials
I've really been into neutral decor for my home lately and decided to create a neutral-colored Valentine's Day wreath for my front door.
This month, I wanted to work on a wreath with a Valentine's Day theme. I've been really into neutrals lately in my home, so I came up with the idea of a Neutral Heart Wreath for Valentine's Day! I went to Hobby Lobby and looked for neutral papers in their scrapbook section. I found several papers with whites, golds, browns, etc. It was a lot of fun selecting the papers and then I got to work cutting out heart shapes on my Silhouette machine. After cutting the hearts, I glued everything to a embroidery hoop! It was really easy and this wreath looks wonderful on my newly painted white door with the gold monogram on the center of it.
Spray paint your embroidery hoop white. You'll want to tie the knot for your 'hanger' before gluing the hearts on.
I used a cordless hot glue gun to adhere the hearts to the hoop. Be sure to overlap the heart shapes while you glue them down.
This is a close up of some of the layering I did. I tried to vary the texture, pattern, color and size quite a bit.
And, this is how it looked when I was done!
Last summer, I painted our front door white (it was a dark brown) and added a gold monogram to it. This neutral wreath looks great on our refreshed front door!
Detail shot of the layered hearts.
This is what our foyer looks like with the wreath hung up. I hope you enjoyed this easy Valentine's Day wreath project!

I also have neutral color only decor in my home. It’s all about the texture. I’m loving the Valentine wreath but I don’t have a cutting machine. Any idea on how to achieve this look without one?
