Styling up Those Store Bought Wreaths!

Use what you have to customize a store bought wreath (or revamp an old one!) i took an old wreath of mine that felt a bit dated and added some rustic leaves from our yard and a few jingle bells tied with a jute string.

Before...
First step - Fluff up your wreath and take off anything you don’t want. In my case, I removed the older faux poinsettia flowers and kept everything else. The pinecones were already on there, but a little hot glue will help you attach some pine cones that you find! icon
Collect some leaves from the yard and other accessories, like bells and/or ribbons. Attach the leaves to your wreath using floral wire and twist it closed in the back. Cedar, pine and boxwood all work well here! The jingle bells can be added with a jute string. These bells I picked up from Target and they are actually gift toppers.
Now just - Hang it up! I used a clear wreath hanger but you could easily add a ribbon to this as well. I wanted to keep mine minimal and green this year.
Here is a close up view of the wreath. Forget those expensive pre made wreaths and make your own with add ons of your choice. Hope you guys enjoy this quick little DIY!
