Using tidbits leftover from other projects, create a sparkly 'SnowScape'. High impact, low cost, no experience needed for a perfect result! Less than an hour to create!
Wide Mouth glass container
Decide on your container. Any wide mouthed item works great - bowls, vases, etc. This terrarium was sitting around taking up space - so I decided to repurpose it.

I washed the glass, but left original pebbles and wood in - I knew my 'snow' would cover them.
Epsom salt makes great 'snow'. It's glittery fine grains look real, and also provide support for your arranged items. Use any amount you want, based on the size of your container. I find a depth of 1 to 3 inches works best in most containers.
Collect your tidbits. Anything will work - - cohesive scene with complimentary colors draws the most attention. Based on what I had, I decided on a vintage Woodland scene.
Mercury glass trees, a vintage look Santa, bits of greenery and a trio of mercury glass ornaments created my scene. I merely arranged and rearranged until I was pleased. There is no right or wrong!
The best 'SnowScapes m' can be viewed straight on, or looking down. This shot is looking down. But my terrarium was pretty tall.,.
So I added a bow, some greenery, and a glittery bird to the handle of my chest style terrarium.
In keeping with the vintage theme, it sits on an antique dresser. The lamp causes the 'snow' to sparkle and shine - doubly reflected in the mirror. A gift box with s message completes the scene to welcome guests!
Have fun with this easy to complete project!
