DIY Christmas

I love the holidays, visiting those cute country stores all lit up and decorated with adorable decor. Unfortunately these things are quite pricey and if you put your mind to it, you can create these things yourself for next to nothing.
I'm very fortunate to be able to get my wood for free, I walk my dogs in an industrial park where their are discarded pallets every where. I made these trees by cutting my planks on a 45° angle and nailing them together. I don't measure I just eyeball it. Sand them, paint them, decorate them with lights etc...
If you have scrap wood, a jigsaw and can draw an oval and some triangles he comes together fairly easy.
I took fence post, cut it in different sizes, spay painted them white. Got a great deal at the craft store on holiday fleece, grabbed my scissors, glue gun ( I can't sew, thank goodness for glue ) and viola!
