This gorgeous tree literally cost $2.00 to make. If you’re able to snag some pompas grass, dried yarrow or dried golden rod and some pine cones you can make this tree in no time.

I found this wooden bowl at the Goodwill last week and it works perfect for this tree. But honestly think outside the box for a vessel. There are so many cool options.

I started with two $1.00 Christmas trees from The Dollar Tree.

I put them together and attached them with floral wire at the trunk in a few spots.

I then fluffed and shapes the tree.

I then sprayed the tree generously with gold spray paint.

Grab your pine cones.

Pompas grass

Start popping in the dried grass all around the tree. I I trimmed a few pieces to keep the tree shape. You may need to attach some of the pieces with floral wire.

Now add your pine cones. I used floral wire to keep them in place.

That’s it!! I love how this turned out
