You can use a sock and then fasten with velcro.
Regular white rice, put in a sock tied at the end.
Hi, you can use a thick sock, fill it will rice and then tie the top with a piece of twine or string.
Take an old long sock (no holes), fill it with rice and then tie the end shut with a knot. Voila!
You can use a sock or try iron-on tape.

You can use a white crew sock or knee sock. put in the rice and just tie a knot on the top of the sox or use a piece of string, or even a shoelace. Do not use a rubber band because it will melt in the microwave when heating up the rice.

I agree with Dee's advice. Any type of rice will work, I use plain white rice as I always have it available in my pantry.

Hi Chrissy: I put my rice, regular uncooked white rice in the leg of a panty hose and then make a tube out of fabric, about 28" long and 14" wide (but you use whatever width and length you like) and make a hem on one narrow end and the wide end and seal it with mending tape. I stick the rice tube inside and use mending tape to seal the top.
