Hi there,
Stick random stuff to it - Paint it or blob glue and glitter, paper and shapes. Infact anything that takes your fancy. Only real suggestion is to decide what colours you want to be in the piece of art, and then go look for inspiration around your home. Try it out before you do it, or just take a risk - Have fun - Art is creative - not everyone has to like it, but as long as you do, then it is ART!
Did you make scribble pictures in grade school? Using a soft lead pencil, make a

Another suggestion is to google any subject you want in the picture: clip art/trees. The drawings are usually simple enough to redraw yourself or you can buy a copy from the internet. I
Another suggestion is to google Grandma Moses. She began her career as an artist very late in life. Her work is called primitive, by the art critics. Yet she is well-known. I'm suggesting you look at her work to see that her primitive work is good enough to make her famous.
With an already stretched canvas, wow, the world is your oyster! Use paints, collage, markers — you’re only limited by your imagination.
I so appreciate your many suggestions. I know I can find the right project.
