A Few Ways to Use Washi Tape to Accent Your Decor!

I am fairly new to the washi tape aka mini colored/print duct tape boom. I now see it as a means to give my current decor that additional pop it needs to say "look at me!".

Disclaimer: I dont use a ruler much so forgive me if you see something off centered or quirky...that's my personality! Haha

Make your photo frames stand out for holidays

These are 3 small dbl side frames I've had but didnt love the mismatched colors. Everyone of us has blah picture frames around the house. If you don't want to paint, washi tape can be a quick and not so permanent way to accent your home.

Maybe use holiday colors or solid everyday colors...the choice are endles! I love that I can just rip it off without any damage and choose other colors if desired! I decided to do a patriotic then on these...

I used 3 colors/prints for this project.

Can you believe the dollar tree had the Red/white/blue striped tape?! (I even purchased the frames there!) It was a very generous roll too! Make sure you have enough for your project! Nothing is worse than finding out you don't have enough materials to finish!

I made 4 tiny bows and used 3 mini colored clothes pins in same colors to add the finishing touches.

I then glued all the bases together vertically. You can even go horizontally...I suggest a main base to stabilize, I still need to add it. Fun huh?

Here are a few finished frames that I used washi tape on. It really made it feel like i had new frames!

Here I used gold & blue tape on 3 frames.

I even used it on a nice shaped glass vase to accentuate the lines of it. The tape can really be fun to work with. Key to a nicely cut end is a blade not Siccors!
