Cute Bottle Redo
In cleaning out our bar at home I decided it was time t get rid of some liquor that had been around for years. One was a bottle of a chocolate liqueur called Mozart., although what was left in the bottle was not worth saving, the bottle had a very cute shape.
I proceeded to remove all the gold foil cover and lable. I was left with this adorable fat bottle.
It was raining yesterday and I decided to do something with the bottle. I cleaned with alcohol and began to paint it. In the flat area, I used black chalkboard paint. I then decided to just paint a happy serpentine and dots pattern in black, orange, green and coral. I just had fun doing it.
I didn't like the way, the black chalk portion looked so out came my glue gun and some twine. I circled it a couple of times and also wrapped the heck of the bottle.
I then remembered I had a bottle stopper that would fit perfectly. I used some chalk to write Oil and voila!
But it can also have your initial and a pourer top and fill it with whatever or put a candle on it. It makes me smile no matter what.
