I actually saw this on someone else's post. I was inspired and I decided that had to try it myself. I got the glass beads from the dollar store, and an antique old window from a local shop in my town. I picked up one tube of clear silicone.
I first washed the windows, then planned what I wanted to do... I decided to use the first initials of a couple I know who are getting married. I did try to do their last name letter, G. But I just could not get it to work for me. So instead I used their initials.
I would apply a little silicone then press on the beads.
First, I got all of my supplies ready. Here we go!
step one, wash the windows well.
Then place the paper to sketch the layout of the letters.
At first thought to do this G...proved too difficult when putting on beads and making them fit while still looking like a G, so I decided on something else...
I used their initials, J and R. This worked much better.
I glued all of the gems in place
Finished product.
I think it looks great! And cant wait to see it with the light shining through it.

I wanted to do a pattern on a sidelight window, but was afraid the glass would break due to the weight. What do y'all think?
