So on one of my thrift store excursions I found this ornate looking candle holder. I didn't like the black look so of course I had to put my twist on it. I wanted to give it an old twist on a newer looking piece. So I got my paint out and got to work!
Here is a before of the candle holder. I picked up Chris keys because it looked ornate and had to candle holders.
I started with my anchored SeaSpell SeaPaint and my mermaid brush and lightly went over the entire piece.
I then lightly dipped my brush into the sunglaze and lightly went over the piece to give it a rusty look.
Here's the final piece and I couldn't be more thrilled!!
