I made this super cute Hello Kitty wine bottle decor out of a paper napkin and glitter. It's really easy, basic materials, looks very chic and can be used for so many things. Change the theme and you can customize it to suit anybody's liking. You can give these as a gift or use them as decor for a themed birthday party. You can even add a bottle lamp kit and turn this into a lamp. What little girl wouldn't love this in her room! This is a fun project you can make with the children as well, messy but fun. Let's get started!icon
You can watch the video for a more detailed explanation or continue to scroll down to read the step by step I have provided.

I cut out one of the hello kitty's and about 16 of the bows. You can just print the images out. It doesn't have to be a napkin.

Then separate the plies of paper.
I decoupaged the napkin onto a piece of white crafting felt.

Place some Mod Podge on the felt...
Place the napkin cut out...
Using a piece of crumpled up piece of plastic wrap... dab the image down. Do not wipe as you would normally do on any other surface.

Seal it with more Mod Podge.
Do the same thing to all the bows and let all of them dry.
Fill in the images with Mod Podge and glitter.
Do not get any glue on the black outline.

Place the glue...
Sprinkle the glitter...
Tap the excess off.

Do this to all the images and let them dry.
Brush off any excess glitter...
Outline all the images with black puffy paint...
Sprinkle with black glitter.
Let them all dry again.

Cut all the images out.
Paint the bottle white, let it dry.
Using Mod Podge and white glitter, cover the whole bottle.
Let that dry.

Paint the cap pink... let that dry and cover it with pink glitter and let that dry.
Hot glue all the images onto the bottle.
I improvised the giant glitter bow on the spot and it's hard to explain but if you want to see how I made it... the video shows how.

I glittered some felt... let it dry... glittered the other side and let that dry.
Outlined them with the black puffy paint and sprinkled black glitter on it.

Let that dry, cut them out and shaped it all into a bow.
I also filled in any missing spots with black puffy paint and black glitter.

Hot glue it onto the bottle and seal the whole bottle with whatever clear sealer you want. I sealed mine with hairspray!
Here's the finished piece. This bottle is very easy to make. The only thing that takes time is waiting for each step to dry. I use a fan to speed things up. It is also very messy but I think you know that lol! Hope you enjoy! :)
