Yes you read that right! Using a Dollar Tree SUN HAT. I am so amazed at how beautiful it turned out and all you need it 2 Dollar Tree items

You will need a Vase from Dollar Tree.

It does not have to be this exact Vase. If you like the look of a different vase then you can absolutely use that as well.

You will also need a Sun Hat. This one and the one I used is from Dollar Tree and they have other colors as well.

Find where the end of the material is on the brim of the sun hat. Pull it apart and it will start unraveling VERY EASILY.

It is only held together by a very thin plastic string. Almost like fishing wire. So it breaks apart very easily as well.

Now take your Vase and at the bottom of the Vase start adding hot glue and glue the Sun Hat material around the bottom of the Vase.

When it was glued all the way around the Vase, I would cut it off at the same spot were started gluing the material on.

Basically gluing the material to the Vase one strip at a time. You can do it in one continuous piece if you would like but the Sun Hat material will not be straight. It will have a slight angle going up the Vase. Which can also be very pretty. However I wanted my pieces to be straight, so I glued one stipe on at a time.

Again I made sure when I glued each piece onto the Vase, I started and stopped at the same spot.

Simply glue each strip of the material right above the next. I VERY SLIGHTLY overlapped each one on top of the next as I was gluing them onto the Vase.

Glue the Sun Hat material going all the way up the Vase until it is completely covered.

Here you can also see how slight the overlap is of the Sun Hat material.

Now if you would like you can add florals, greenery, or just keep empty and let its natural beautiful shine.

You can also add a bow around the top of the Vase. I just used the bow material that was already on the Sun Hat in the beginning and wrapped it around the Vase and tied a simple Bow.

I love that No matter what you put into the Vase it will look stunning!

Boy were my eyes happy!

You can also add Fairy Lights down into the vase for this STUNNING look at night.

And look at the beautiful light coming through!icon

I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you.
