Lampshade makeover **

the lampshade was a dismal green and the base was a dark brown.Sooo i decided to give them a new lease on life(so to speak) I printed some vintage french music (from The Graphic Fairy ) and with some patience,pva glue and a picture in my head.I got started.I love the result!!
Voila' my 'New' lampshade and newly painted base **

Love this. I am going to try to copy it. By the way Susan S, "I Feel Pretty" is from "West Side Story." I know one would think its from "My Fair Lady" which is my favorite music from all time.

My daughter is a piano teacher, and she'd like this. I think a black base would also be pretty!
