Peaceful Home Burden Basket

Burden Baskets come from Native American culture. Women use them to gather in the fields then hang them on the front door in the evening to remind visitors the home is sacred and worries, anger and negative thoughts should be kept at the door. Make a small inexpensive one with a beautiful poem I wrote to remind your own family and visitors to leave their burden's outside.

Hot glue your basket to your finished board.
Grab some feathers to add.
We glued a few together and used some watered down paint to touch up the ends of them. Then we wrapped the stem ends with embroidery thread and glued them to the side of the basked.
