I love the idea of displaying vintage family photos in my home; but finding the right frames wasn't easy. I wanted something unique and eye catching.

I'm going to show you how I used a vintage printer press drawer to display my vintage photos beautifully.

I have always wanted a vintage printing press drawer. I found this one at a flea market, and snagged it up! I wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first.

I have a box full of vintage family photos, which were given to me. I was trying to find a fun way to display them. I decided the printing press drawer would be a fun and unique way to show them off!

I noticed quite a few of the pictures were shaped perfectly for the printing drawer. Vintage photographs tend to have a nice rectangle or square shape; and fit great!

Perfect fit!

This photo was a great fit as well!

You can always choose to cut your photos to size as well. (Of course, any photos can be used....not just vintage.)

I didn't want to use any form of glue or tape. A big reason for this is, I didn't want to apply anything sticky to the vintage wood or photos.

I found it was easy to slip the bottom of the photos behind the little shelving (as pictured.) This isn't necessary; but helps keep your photos in place if you need too.

I chose not to completely fill the drawer with photos; but rather keep many of the little openings bare. I did however, decide to add some little flowers I had for a pretty touch.

These flowers were perfect for this project, as they are made from very thin (almost foam like) material. So they easily bent into the openings.

The flowers are call Sola wood Flowers, and can be found online at their website (www.solawoodflowers.com)

I really love how it all came together.
