Re-Purposed Chair Back Photo Display

I love displaying old photographs with unique photo holders. In my most recent project, I used a vintage chair back. Much more fun than a frame!
I was lucky enough to get this old chair from a junkin' friend! The ornate turned legs were really beat up, but the chair back was in pretty good shape.
The chair back was sawed off of the chair.
The chair back was painted and distressed, and a bulldog clip was added to the back slat.
The new chair back photo holder was added to my unique photo display wall that is currently a "work in progress". See complete details for all three projects on my blog!

Whenever I hang a picture without a frame, it curls up. I guess these are mounted on card stock?

This is a photography studio photo on thicker paper but you can use painters tape to make it lay flatter without ruining the photo.

Great idea. I think this would look cute in my kitchen with a small calendar in place of a photo.
