Repurposing a 50lt Bottle

I bought this 50lt bottle, more for its uniqueness, at a flea market. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it but knew I would find a purpose. And this is what I did.... bought it in this steel holder. Apparently original holder.! I needed some height in the corner of out lounge, and put it there till I knew what to use it for
I love fairy lights and decided to turn it into a "night" light.
I tried various colors as you can see. Started with purple. Lived with them for a couple of days and then tried the next. I wrapped thin copper wire around the lights to give them some body. This way they didn't all fall to the bottom of the bottle.

I settled for the white lights and love my new corner lamp
This is how it looks with the lights off.

      Hello William. Thank you. I'm a bit of a 2nd hand shop junkie and found them on separate occasions. They've made wonderful side coffee tables
