Make wooden alphabet pieces for the children in your life. In an electronic age when children are on many different electronic devices, it's good to bring back the basics of learning creatively.
1 1/2 x 2 pieces bought from Amazon. 50 pieces for $9.
Use google to search an alphabet style you like. I thought this was a good one.
Use a Sharpie to apply your lettering.
Apply Unicorn SpiT with any brush. You can dilute with a little water if you wish. You may want to use plastic gloves while handling your painted pieces.
I put two drops of Unicorn SpiT on my brush for striping, but you could do polka dots or all one color, anything your heart desires. Let each side dry for 15 minutes.
After they're dry use a Sharpie again to line the edges. This gives them a more finished look and creates a frame.
Use Clear Polyurethane to seal. I used 2 coats.
Your children will love them!
