Walkway Decor for About 5$ Repurposing Large Tin Cans

You will really want to save your large cans that once held tomato sauce, fruit etc. I have a walkway with 3 posts that needed a more welcoming hello . So I got 3 large cans together and painted them up a bit
I wanted to get an old copper look so I actually used 3 different paints. first a bus yellow then a deep cranberry with less coverage.
After all the paint was dry I patted on a washed blue and green color. And I was surprised that I could make holes so easily using a small screw driver just hitting the hammer . be sure to add a small board as a work surface when hammering
I thought I would number them for fun. Plants I bought at Home depot, soil at wallmart.... so for about 5$ I dressed up the walkway. To see more or to get additional Can ideas please visit Http://mrsblackstone.blogspot
